Money is available if you know where to find it, and you know how to pitch for it. Some people are good at looking for it, and getting it, and some people are not.
I am someone who is not particularly good at it when it comes to my own business. I like to just get stuck in and make stuff, without having the please the people with the purse strings.
Perhaps if someone had sat me down and said, you know you can get funding for this, and it’s not that hard, and you won’t have to compromise on your values, as there are lots of options, things would have been a little easier.
So that’s what I’m doing for you. Letting you know that there are options available, and it might be worth spending a bit of time to come up for breath to try to get some money in the bank. And the process of doing this might actually provide some value beyond just money. It will force you to stop spinning the wheel and have a think about the direction you are heading in, and how to get there more strategically.
